At St. James our vision is to see people of all ages transformed by the Bible’s life-changing message about Jesus. That change begins as people respond to Jesus and continues as they grow to maturity in the faith.

We believe change is possible because God, through His Holy Spirit, speaks through His word the Bible. So here at St. James we’re big on reading, understanding, applying and sharing God’s word in every aspect of our lives.

We are grateful for a wonderfully diverse church. We strive to be an authentically South African church and give expression to that in our worship and through the unity of our fellowship.

Some of the first people to attend St. James when we started in 1968 were children from the neighbourhood. Today we continue our commitment to kids and families with a busy kids church and vibrant youth ministry. But thanks to our staff team and lay leaders, we’re here to help no matter what stage of life you’re in.
